The Ultimate Apres Avon Beer Festival takes place on Saturday, April 1st from 1-6pm on Lake Street in Avon. While it occurs on April Fool’s Day, this festival is no joke; it features wine and beer tastings, food selections, live entertainment, and lots of fun. Here’s what you need to know:
Available Ticket Options
There are a variety of ticket options for the festival. The Ultimate Tasting option (for $45) offers a collector’s tasting cup and unlimited beer tasting. The VIP Experience (for $80) offers an entrance line limited to VIPs, a collector’s glass, and unlimited beer and wine tasting (with full pours). The VIP DD (for $50) is reserved for designated drivers; this option does not include alcohol, but offers a VIP entrance line, a catered lunch and snacks, and a private tent with a view of the stage. The festival features dozens of craft beers, wines, seltzers, and spirits from both local and national producers. Some participating breweries and wineries include Ska Brewing, Bar Dog, Man Paw, Left Hand Brewing, Malene Rose, Mahogany Ridge Brewery & Grill, and Longevity. The Ultimate Apres Avon Beer Festival is as almost as well known for its live music as it is for its libations. The two bands taking the stage are Blink 90210 and Band Kamp. Blink 90210, as the name implies, is a cover band that pays tribute to the 90s with songs by Jimmy Eat World, The Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Sublime, Nirvana, Blink 182, Green Day, 4 Non-Blondes, Tiffany, Gin Blossoms, and more.
Band Kamp takes listeners back to earlier times, focusing on the tunes of the 70s. They’re high energy and heavy on the bass, drums, and guitar. Their song list includes hits by Van Halen, Elvis, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Lover Boy, Grand Funk Railroad, Pink Floyd, U2, and more.
